This meetup was started by Diana (*waving hand*) and her three girlfriends who, besides shopping, drinking and dancing, fancy getting away from the city to chillax and ski or snowboard and then unwind! My name is John I had the opportunity to keep the group going, so if you love to learn all about snowboarding or already know how to rip it up,and love meeting new people, join us!

The Ski & Snowboard Club of New York is a non-profit group run by a group of dedicated skiers who volunteer their time to organize fun and value-priced ski trips that are convenient for all in the New York City area. In general, our skiers are adults who love travel, skiing and snowboarding, the outdoors, and meeting new people.

This meetup is for women who love to ski or snowboard out west and want to ski around the world. In 2012, we are going to Keystone/Vail, Breckenridge, and Jackson Hole, and have a luxurious, 5-6 bedroom ski house with jacuzzi reserved at each resort. We're a large international group centered in the New York metropolitan area, hosting outdoor and indoor activities year-round. In the winter, we meet regularly in New York City and go skiing or snowboarding at our club's lodge in Waitsfield, VT, near the Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski areas.

We are a four season club but began as a ski club in the early 1960's. SHSC is a 21 and over club based in NJ and owns a 46 bed lodge in Lower Granville VT. central to all of the ski areas in VT but closest to Sugarbush.
